Britton-René Collins is a dynamic percussionist celebrated for her artistry and passion in contemporary performance. She won the 2020 Concert Artists Guild Victor Elmaleh Competition and is a Grand Prize-winner of the 2021 Chicago International Music Competition. Britton-René has showcased her talent across the United States, Canada, and Europe, performing concertos with esteemed ensembles, including the Grammy Award-winning Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, and in recital & chamber music at Merkin Hall, Philharmonic Society of Orange County, Krannert Center, Phillips Collection, and Chamber Music Detroit, among others. Recently appointed to the percussion faculty at the Chicago College of Performing Arts, she remains dedicated to championing diversity and inclusion within the music community.
