YCAT Partnership
A collaboration bringing young artists to venues and communities around the globe
When it comes to developing the careers of emerging young artists in Europe and North America, CAG and London’s Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT) share more than a century of experience. Following the success of YCAT artists Jamal Aliyev and Tabea Debus at CAG’s competition in 2019, the two organizations draw on their combined expertise to launch a new partnership that will allow them to offer young artists unprecedented new transatlantic opportunities, while also growing the resources available to help them.
The collaboration is timely, for young musicians have never faced greater obstacles in starting their careers, and most struggle to be seen and heard in today’s challenging global environment. By joining forces, YCAT and CAG are confident that they can help these young artists navigate and connect cultural marketplaces on both sides of the Atlantic.
