Concert Artists Guild and The Global Leaders Institute Announce New Partnership

Concert Artists Guild (CAG) is excited to announce a new partnership with The Global Leaders Institute (GLI). The Global Leaders Institute joins the Sphinx Organization as a new collaborative partner of Concert Artists Guild.

CAG, Sphinx, and GLI have established the inaugural Social Impact 2024 Cohort, creating a six-month career launch program providing CAG artists and a Sphinx laureate with essential entrepreneurial skills needed to navigate and positively impact today’s arts ecosystem.

After completing the training’s five modules, participants apply the knowledge and skills acquired to write and pitch a high-impact artistic project before a panel of experts.

Nathan Amaral, 2024 CAG Louis and Susan Meisel Competition finalist and winner of the 2024 Sphinx Competition, is joining this meaningful partnership.

"It's such an incredible opportunity through CAG and Sphinx to be part of this program with GLI, which is helping us to understand what our mission is in this world. As musicians, we are gaining tools to imagine and create meaningful solutions that help our communities through the power of music. I am both excited and grateful for the chance to work and learn through this program so that I can bring these new skills in service to my community back in Brazil, and beyond."

Members of the recent Avery Fisher Career Grant-winning Balourdet Quartet are also part of this inaugural group.

"We are thrilled and inspired to be a part of the CAG-GLI partnership, as it provides us with a unique and structured approach to our artistic lives. The six-month curated curriculum will strengthen our core values, teach us business fundamentals, and help us develop a pitch, all of which we will apply to a project that’s relevant in today’s society. These are critical tools and skills we’ll carry forward throughout our professional lives, contributing both to our sustainability and to our impact within communities as a 21st-century creative consortium.”

The CAG-affiliated artists participating in this exciting cohort are:

Adam W. Sadberry
Balourdet Quartet
Chromic Duo
Eleni Katz
Llewellyn Sánchez-Werner

Nathan Amaral
Nathan Meltzer
